Vinton Town Council honors citizen for assisting police

Josh Blake (right) was honored by Vinton Town Council for assisting a Vinton police officer during an arrest when an attempt was being made by the suspect to disarm the officer, which could have resulted in death or serious injury to the officer or the public.
